Coffee Story

Finca Canaveral
Luis Fernando Ortiz owns and operated this 20 hectare farm named Finca Canaveral in the Tierra Colorada area of Montecillos in La Paz.

Luis also has bananas planted here, but the majority of the land is used exclusively for coffee production.

He is harvesting coffee from November through March and produces both washed and natural coffees here, all dried on patios.

Finca Canaveral produces roughly 24,000 kgs of coffee annually.
